Reading Updates - A Look Back at 2020 and Forward to 2021 continued

Goodreads is acting up today so I'll focus on this. My second Individual challenge for 2020 was a follow-on of sorts to the challenge I highlighted in my previous post. My 2nd challenge involved reading the next book in series that I've been enjoying the past years. In this challenge I completed 26 books in 2020. Sort of a minor accomplishment considering how many series I've got on the go. Below is a statistical breakdown -

Individual Challenges 2021 - Next Book in Series

I'm continuing with this challenge in 2021. My first book will complete a series. It was one of my 12 + 4 books from 2020.

1. Inkworld - Inkdeath by Cornelia Funke (Inkworld #3).

"CAUGHT BETWEEN THE COVERS OF A CURSED STORY . . .

Ever since the extraordinary events of Inkspell, when the enchanted book Inkheart drew Meggie and her father, Mo, into its chapters, life in the Inkworld has been more tragic than magical.

The fire-eater Dustfinger is dead, having sacrificed his life for his apprentice Farid’s, and now, under the rule of the evil Adderhead, the fairy-tale land is in bloody chaos, its characters far beyond the control of Fenoglio, their author. Even Elinor, left behind in the real world, believes her family to be lost—lost between the covers of a book.

Facing the threat of eternal winter, Mo inks a dangerous deal with Death itself. There yet remains a faint hope of changing the cursed story—if only he can fill its pages fast enough."

There you go. Some reading ideas for you.
