The first time I heard my Day 11 song choice was an updated version from Marlena Shaw, featuring Ya Boy. That version is excellent. Later on, my wife Jo introduced me to another version, performed by Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell. The song was originally written by song writing duo, Ashford and Simpson in 1967. So with that preamble, my Day 11 song is California Soul, written by Ashford and Simpson and performed by Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell. Enjoy and have a great day!
